Station History

Shout Radio spans a whole decade. Plenty of things have happened in the last 10 years, Some good, some bad and some very sad moments, are documented on the below timeline. 

April 30th 2013
Shout Radio is conceived.
Shout Radio is Conceived

Shout Radio is conceived, when Aaron Bennett, his mum Rachel and a few other people, start to design a Internet Radio Station like no other!

June 2013
Testing... One Two Three...
Test Broadcasts Start

We begin test broadcasts, in light of our upcoming launch, in one month's time. 

July 13th 2013
"Prepare for launch... All Systems are Go!"
Shout Radio Officially Launches

Aaron and his mum launch Shout Radio at 3pm, with a marathon broadcast!

Aaron's Mum Rachel, passes away, after getting Sepsis

Someone call the Fire Brigade!
Minor Fire in the Studio

A minor fire breaks out in our Studio. Thankfully, the fire is put out quickly and no one was hurt.

Mollie Passes Away

The Station Mascot: Mollie passes away, at the ripe old age of 13, after suffering a stroke.
