How to Find Our Base
Getting to our Community Base is easy, via car, train, bus or on foot. We are based at Plymouth House, which is located on the town end of the Mobry Industrial Estate, at the north east side of town. This is right next to the Grange Park Estate and around the corner from Layton Railway Station.

To find us from town, head to Talbot Road, past the new Holiday Inn, Sainsburys and the Railway Station. Continue along Talbot Road to Layton. Cross the roundabout at Layton Square, on to Westcliff Drive.
Continue onwards down Westcliff Drive, following the signs for Layton Railway Station. Now take the 1st exit, when you reach the roundabout, onto Plymouth Road. At the traffic lights, take the 1st right, onto Mobray Drive and then turn left. (By Howdens) Our car park is the 2nd turning on the right.
The nearest Railway Station is Layton, which is five minutes from the office. Layton has one train per hour to Preston, York and Liverpool. Layton Station is not manned, however, it does have PIS Screens, shetlters and Help Points on either platform. Layton is operated by Northern.
Poulton Le-Fylde Railway Station is approx. 2.5 miles from the office and normally runs trains every half hour, from Preston, Liverpool, York and occasionally, London! Poulton-Le-Fylde Station is operated by Northern and is a manned station.
There are several busses you can use to get to the office. Busses are mainly operated by Blackpool Transport, unless stated otherwise.
No 9 to Bispham: (Blackpool Transport)
This bus stops at the junction of Plymouth Road heading northbound and a few metres along Benson Road, heading towards Blackpool
No 14 to Town Centre and Fleetwood: (Blackpool Transport)
This bus stops on Poulton Road, before the Petrol Station, heading towards Poulton, and outside Rodwell Walk, heading towards Blackpool.
No 6 to Mereside Tesco and Grange Park: (Blackpool Transport)
This bus stops at Rodwell Walk, on Poulton Road, heading towards Grange Park and Mereside Tesco ++
No 76 to St Annes – Blackpool and Preston: (Preston Bus)
This bus also stops at Rodwell Walk, on Poulton Road in either direction.*
No 42+ to Blackpool and Lancaster: (Stagecoach)
This bus stops at Rodwell Walk, on Poulton Road in either direction.+
The fastest way from town to our office, on foot is via Talbot Road. Follow Talbot Road into Layton, passing the cemetery and shops.
Take the 1st left, just after Tesco Express, on to Bispham Road. Follow the Bispham Road, onto Benson Road. At the end of Benson Road, cross the road, where the the office will be dead ahead of you.
From town, the office is about 1.9 miles on foot and take around 50 mins to walk.
We recommend using Premier Taxis, as they have friendly drivers, electric cars and are very reliable. Premier can be contacted by phone on: 01253 401000. A taxi fare from town, will cost around £5.
You can also use C-Cabs and they can be contacted on phone on: 01253 29 29 29.
We have ample parking at the office. there is the large front carpark, a side carpark and a car park at the rear of the building. Disabled Parking is at the front of the building.
There are also a bike rack at the rear of the building, as well as motorbike parking
Secure Door Entry System
You will need to use the Door Entry System, when you get to the Office. Thankfully, this is really easy.
- Push Contacts on the LED Screen
- Scroll down, until you find Shout Radio
- Click Shout Radio and press Call
- Wait for us to anwser and then speak to us.
- We will then release the door remotely. (The panel will give a long continious tone – push the door to open it)
