DELAMERE Forest Golf Club and Cheshire County Ladies Golf Association’s young star Immy Williamson continued her outstanding season with two great performances at national level.
Immy, 14, won the Cheshire Girls title at Prestbury and was the runner-up in the Cheshire Ladies Championships to England star Bel Wardle.
She also played well for Cheshire in the Northern Counties championships at Alnmouth.
She then stepped up to play in the English Girls Under 18s Championships at Malton and Norton GC, Yorkshire, where she finished in a very creditable sixth place.
Immy finished with a +9 score of 297 in the competition won by Patience Rhodes on 288
Her nest big event was the England Girls Under 14s Championships at Morecambe GC where she finished as the runner-up.
